Who Are We?

We are a club sport at Desert Vista High School, open to all DV StudentsAhwatukee Middle School Students & Home School Students within the DV boundaries, interested in Mountain Biking.   We participate in the Arizona Interscholastic Cycling League, that provides a positive environment where our members can compete and enjoy the sport of Mountain Biking while developing friendships, athletic skills, and team work that will last a lifetime. Riders of all abilities and fitness levels are encouraged to join us as we learn and experience the adventures of Mountain Biking!

Preseason Kickoff April 2021

Practice Schedule - Starting July, 2021

Middle School Riders:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday @ 5:30am

High School Riders:

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday @ 5:30am

Rides start from either Corpus Christi Church or Altadena Middle School

September 11/12th – Race #1 Flier

Fort Tuthill County Park – Flagstaff

September 25/26th – Race #2 Flier

Nordic Center - Flagstaff

 

October 9th/10th – Race #3 Flier

Pioneer Park - Prescott

October 23/24th – Race #4 Flier

White Tanks - Waddell

November 6th/7th – High School State Championship

Interested in joining the team?

Registration Process:

Step 1:  Review the DV MTB Team Handbook for additional details and team expectations.

Step 2: Submit New Rider Request Form to be contacted by a Coach about the upcoming Season.

Step 3:  Email dvmtnbike@gmail.com a signed copy of the DV MTB Rider Agreement and TUHSD Picture Release forms, found in the DV MTB Team Handbook.

Step 4:  Register in the   NICA Pit Zone Invitation will be sent after Step 3 is completed.

Step 5:  Sign up for TeamSnap  Invitation will be sent after Step 4 is completed.

Step 6:  Get your bike tuned up and get ready for some fun!

Parental Support is vital to the success of the team.  From early morning rides, emergency bike repairs, to race day support, each Rider needs a solid support team!

DV MTB Booster Club

As a club activity at DV, we are responsible for all team finances and team management activities.  We fall under the guidance of the DVHS Thunder Board Association for all financial reporting requirements.  Contact our Booster Club Officers with any questions.
