Who Are We?

We are a club sport at Desert Vista High School, open to all DV StudentsAhwatukee Middle School Students interested in Mountain Biking.   We participate in the Arizona Interscholastic Cycling League, that provides a positive environment where our members can compete and enjoy the sport of Mountain Biking while developing friendships, athletic skills, and team work that will last a lifetime. Riders of all abilities and fitness levels are encouraged to join us as we learn and experience the adventures of Mountain Biking!

Preseason Kickoff April 2020

Practice Schedule - Starting August 2020

Middle School Riders:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday @ 5:30am

High School Riders:

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday @ 5:30am

Rides start from either Corpus Christi Church or Altadena Middle School

October 24/25th – Race #3 Flier

McKenzie Ranch Trails Park - Vail

November 21/22nd – Race #5 Flier

Estrella Mountain Park - Goodyear


Riders: 6th Grade thru High School

  • DV Student or Ahwatukee Middle School Student

  • Have a Mountain Bike

  • Have a Good Attitude

  • Be Willing to Learn & Work Hard

  • Maintain Grades

  • Have Fun, Smile & Respect the Community

Step 1: Submit New Rider Request Form to be contacted by a Coach about the upcoming Season.

Step 2:  Register in the   NICA Pit Zone  

Step 3:  Sign up for the Team Snap 


Step 4:  Get your bike tuned up and get ready for some fun!

Parental Support is vital to the success of the team.  From early morning rides to emergency bike repairs to race day support, each Rider needs a solid support team!

Costs to join the team are set at the beginning of the season, but please reach out to us for an estimate and further information on how the team is managed.  We will have a mandatory Parent Meeting in August to help clarify any questions.  Please refer to the Team Write up document for additional details.

Parents with a Mountain Bike background are invited to become a Ride Leader.  Additional details can be found in the Pit Zone. 

If interested in becoming a Coach, please reach out to us, as we need all the help we can get!
